President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The President landed at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport on Wednesday, where he was welcomed by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and other members of the state executive council.
Prior to his arrival in Lagos, Tinubu presented the 2025 federal budget to a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja. The proposed ₦47.9 trillion budget outlines his administration’s fiscal priorities for the upcoming year.
This festive visit marks the President’s return to his home state, intertwining his personal connection with Lagos and the recent unveiling of the government’s economic roadmap for 2025.
