The Enugu State Police Command has declared the driver and conductor of a Mitsubishi L300 commercial bus wanted following their alleged involvement in an attack on police officers, an attempted murder, and the theft of a police service rifle.
In a statement released on Sunday, the command’s spokesperson, SP Daniel Ndukwe, said the suspects are being sought over allegations bordering on conspiracy, grievous assault, reckless driving, attempted murder, and the snatching of a police firearm.
Police said the incident took place at approximately 1:20 p.m. on July 9 at the All Saints Roundabout along Abakaliki Road in Enugu, prompting an ongoing investigation and manhunt for the fleeing suspects.
