Hon Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa (BOB), a governorship Aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress in Kwara State on Friday engaged Stakeholders in Ifelodun Local Government to solicit for their support.
Bolarinwa who is also from Ifelodun local government met the stakeholders comprising Party Leaders, Elders, Youth Representatives and Grassroots Mobilizers at the residence of Chief Adisa in Share.
The former Federal Lawmaker said his desire for Kwara development and the need to consolidate on APC gains prompted him to join the governorship race.
His word: “This is my own local government. I stand before you today not just to declare my ambition, but to seek your partnership and support. Together, we can build on the progress already made and move Kwara State to greater heights.”
Bolarinwa noted that his political experience, spanning grassroots leadership to national representation would help him deliver dividends of democracy to Kwarans across the 16 local government areas.
In their separate remarks, several stakeholders hailed Bolarinwa for his contributions to the growth of APC in Kwara State, describing him as a unifying figure with deep grassroots connection.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolution by stakeholders to rally behind Bolarinwa’s aspiration.
Member representing Share/Oke-ode Constituency in Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Razaq Owolabi, Barr Jejelola, Hon Razak Ademola, Hon Fatai Garba, Alhaji M.T Lawal, Hon Samuel Fasobu, Hon kosalamala, Elder Rufai, Hon Akani, Arc. Abolarin Alhaji Malmo and Hon Tunde Kano were in attendance.
